Christ In Me

Letting Go of Self to Live by Faith

We weren't made to carry the weight of self-focus. Whether we see ourselves as not enough or more than others, it still keeps the attention on "me." But the life we're called to live is one where Christ is the center, not us. "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me" (Galatians 2:20 NKJV). When our thoughts shift from self-occupation to Christ-occupation, everything changes. The more we fix our thoughts on Jesus and His finished work, the more we're transformed from the inside out. "Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think" (Romans 12:2 NLT). Right believing isn't just a mindset—it's an invitation to peace, joy, and wholeness. As we behold Jesus, His nature begins to overflow through us, and we walk in the fruit of the Spirit without even striving. And here's the anchor for it all—He'll never leave you. "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5 NKJV). At the cross, God turned His back on Jesus so He would never have to turn His back on you. "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him" (2 Corinthians 5:21 NKJV). That's why today, God's face shines on you with delight. Not because you've done everything right, but because Jesus did.

Today I Confess

Jesus lives in me. I don't face life alone—I carry His Spirit, His power, and His presence every day.
