Held by God, Hidden from Harm

God's Presence in Your Growth and Victory

January 8, 2025Author: Trish TiptonCategory: Trust

If you're walking through a season of spiritual growth, stepping away from who you used to be and into who God is shaping you to become, know this: not everyone will understand your journey. Some may still define you by your past, unable to see the quiet transformation God is doing in your heart. But Isaiah 41:11–13 is your reminder that those who oppose what God is doing in you—whether openly or silently—have no power to stop His plan. "You shall seek them and not find them… those who war against you shall be as nothing." God is clearing the way for your future, even if others don't see it.

At the same time, don't overlook the gift of those who do see you—those who recognize the growth, who honor your process, who pray for you, walk with you, and cheer you on. These people are a reflection of God's grace and confirmation that your progress is real. Their support is fuel for the days when you feel unseen. And more than that, the Lord Himself promises His presence. "I will hold your right hand," He says. "Fear not, I will help you." You're not walking this road alone.

So to anyone out there who's being stretched, changed, and called higher—take heart. Let go of the need for others to understand, and lean into the One who already does. He sees the real you, walks with the new you, and has already made a way for where you're going.

"For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, 'Fear not, I will help you.'" Isaiah 41:13 (NKJV)

Today I Confess

I am surrounded by God's protection. Even when I don't see it, He shelters me under His wings and shields me from harm.
