Light in the Darkness
The Promise of Hope That Never Fails
May It Be is like a gentle whisper in the night, reminding us that even in the darkest seasons, light is already on its way. When you walk through trials that feel endless, remember this truth: "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it" (John 1:5).
The song's promise—"A promise lives within you now"—mirrors what God has placed inside you: His Spirit, His hope, His victory. Nothing can steal that light. Darkness cannot erase the flame of faith when it is anchored in Him.
Just as dawn always breaks the night, His faithfulness will always rise over every shadow.

Today I Confess
I carry the light of Christ within me. No darkness can overwhelm me, for His promise of hope is alive in me.
