Love Lived Out
Reflecting God's Heart in Our Actions
It's easy to love those who love us back. But the true test of love shows up when we're hurt, disappointed, or challenged. God didn't wait until we were worthy to love us—He loved us while we were still broken and far from Him. That kind of love is our example: sacrificial, undeserved, and without limits. If He loved us like that, we are called to love others the same way. Love doesn't ignore healthy boundaries or condone mistreatment, but it does refuse to let bitterness rule. It means choosing kindness when it's not returned and releasing others from the debt of offense. Loving like Jesus takes faith—it trusts that when we follow His example, He will heal, protect, and restore what we surrender. His kind of love silences the enemy and ushers in the atmosphere of Heaven. This love isn't just a feeling; it's our evidence of being transformed. When we abide in His love, our hearts begin to respond like His—with grace instead of judgment, mercy instead of retaliation. That's the kind of love that stands out in a broken world. And it's the kind of love we're empowered to give.
"Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another." 1 John 4:11 NKJV
Today I Confess
I don't just talk about love—I live it. I show grace, offer kindness, and reflect Jesus through my actions.
