Rise Again

When God's Favor Lifts You from the Pit

When God's unmerited favor is on your life, your position doesn't determine your outcome—His promise does. Proverbs 24:16 says, "Though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again" (NIV). That's not just encouragement—it's a declaration. Like Joseph, whether you find yourself in a pit, a prison, or a palace, God's favor will keep raising you back up. The enemy may try to push you down, but favor keeps popping you right back up like a rubber ball in water.

God never wastes the low points. Joseph's journey to Egypt looked like a disaster at first, but every step—betrayal, slavery, prison—was used by God to position him for promotion. Genesis 41:39–41 shows us the outcome: "Inasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you. You shall be over my house… See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt." What looked like setbacks were setups for divine acceleration.

If life feels dark or delayed, hear me: it's not over. This moment is not the end—it's the middle of your story. You're not here by accident. I believe you're reading this right now because God is reminding you of His hand on your life. Keep trusting Him. Keep rising. Just like Joseph, you will see the favor of God turn your darkest hour into your most defining one.

Today I Confess

I am forgiven and restored. God is rewriting my story and using every broken piece for His glory.
