You Are His Dwelling Place
Recognizing the Holiness Within
This is a powerful reminder of how sacred we are to God. We aren't just trying to reach Him from the outside—He lives inside of us. When we accepted Jesus, we became the very dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. That's not a metaphor. That's truth. "Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?" (1 Corinthians 3:16 NKJV) – He chose to make His home in us. Knowing this changes the way we live and think. We no longer have to beg for God's presence—He's already here. It's not about feelings or circumstances; it's about faith in what God said. If He's in me, then His power, peace, wisdom, and strength are also in me. I carry His presence into every room I walk into. When I understand that my body is His temple, it causes me to honor it and protect what I allow in. But more than that, it gives me confidence. I don't walk alone. I don't face struggles alone. I am not empty—I'm filled with the Spirit of the living God.
Today I Confess
God lives in me. I am His home, His temple, and His delight. I carry His presence everywhere I go.
