Every new day is a mercy. Before the demands of the calendar press in, before the notifications begin, this morning belongs to you and to God. Bring Him the whole of it — your hopes for the day, your worries about the week, your gratitude for the breath in your lungs. He already knows everything on your heart, and He is inviting you to lay it before Him as an act of trust.
Reflection
Think about a time when God showed up unexpectedly in your life. Let that memory be a stone of remembrance — an anchor for your faith in this present season.

Lamentations 3:22-23 — Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

I trust that God is working all things together for my good, even when I cannot see how.
