September 27
Hard seasons have a way of stripping away everything that is not essential, and what remains is always faith. When Job lost everything, he still said, 'Though he slay me, yet will I trust in Him.' That is not easy faith. That is earned faith, forged in the fire of real suffering. Whatever season you are in right now, God is with you in it — not watching from a distance but walking alongside you step by step.
Reflection
Think about someone in your life who is walking through a hard season right now. What is one concrete, tangible way you could show up for them this week?
Scripture
Philippians 4:6-7 — Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Today I Confess
I trust that God is working all things together for my good, even when I cannot see how.
