Morning Prayer

Starting the day in the presence of God

Father, this day is Yours before it is mine. I give it back to You before it fills up with everything else. Order my steps. Guard my words. Let Your presence go before me into every room I enter and every conversation I have. I am not rushing into this day striving — I am walking into it resting in You. Whatever comes today, I trust You with it. Good morning, Lord. Amen.
