Prayer for Parents and Grandchildren

Father, I pray a covering prayer over my family across the generations. Protect my children and grandchildren from what I cannot see coming. Let the faith I have lived before them take root in their hearts. Let the prayers I have prayed over them throughout the years bear fruit in their lives. And let the love of God run like a river through every generation of this family long after I am gone. Amen.
