Shortbread for Strawberries
Simple, buttery shortbread baked golden and served with fresh strawberries and whipped cream — the easiest, most elegant summer dessert.

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, room temperature
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions

Mix all ingredients in a bowl until a soft dough forms.
