Commercial air fresheners typically work by masking odors with synthetic fragrance — compounds that are increasingly linked to indoor air quality concerns. This natural spray neutralizes odors rather than masking them, using essential oils with genuine antimicrobial and deodorizing properties to address the source of the smell.

Lemon essential oil is one of the most effective natural deodorizers available — its d-limonene content actively breaks down the volatile compounds responsible for food odors, rather than simply covering them with fragrance. Purification blend (or orange essential oil) adds additional deodorizing and freshening action. The natural-based cleaner in the base helps the oils disperse evenly and adds its own cleaning properties to any surfaces it contacts.

Use this spray after cooking — particularly after frying, fish, or any dish with strong lingering aromas. A light mist into the air is sufficient; avoid spraying directly onto food surfaces or hot stovetop elements. The scent is clean and fresh without the artificial quality of synthetic air fresheners.
