Fruitful or Forgotten
Living a Life that Reflects the Kingdom
Jesus didn't come to offer religion—He came to establish a kingdom. And in Matthew 21:43, He makes it clear: "Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it." God is looking for people who will not just hear His Word but live it out—those who produce the fruit of righteousness, obedience, and love. This verse is a sobering reminder that being chosen doesn't mean we're automatically faithful. The Pharisees had the law, the history, and the covenant, but they rejected the Son. So the kingdom was offered to those who would receive it with open hearts and produce fruit in response. It's not about heritage—it's about fruit. We are that new nation, born of the Spirit, called to walk in step with the King. If we claim to belong to God, then our lives should bear witness to His kingdom. Love, peace, patience, and faithfulness aren't just suggestions—they're evidence that His rule is alive in us. Let's not settle for looking the part—let's live it.
Matthew 21:43 (NKJV) – "Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it."
Today I Confess
I live by faith, not by sight. God is faithful, and I trust Him with my whole heart.
