His Body, Broken for You

The Cost of Your Wholeness

January 8, 2025Author: Trish TiptonCategory: Communion

The broken body of Christ is not just a symbol—it's the proof of how far love will go. His body was beaten so that your body could be healed. He took on suffering so that you could be whole. When we take communion, we don't just remember His death—we proclaim what it accomplished. Every bruise, every stripe, every torn piece of flesh declared: 'I love you enough to carry your pain.' The cross didn't just cover sin; it opened the way for healing, redemption, and restoration. Today, as you remember His brokenness, receive wholeness. Healing isn't earned—it's already paid for.

1 Corinthians 11:24 (NKJV) – "...and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, 'Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.'"

Today I Confess

Thank You, Jesus, for giving Your body for mine. I receive the healing, peace, and wholeness You purchased for me. I remember, and I believe.
