Jesus is the Bread
Your Source of Life and Fullness
When Jesus said He was the Bread of Life, He wasn't offering a metaphor—He was revealing the spiritual truth that just as bread sustains the body, He sustains the soul. Bread was a daily necessity in biblical times, not a luxury. Likewise, Jesus is not an add-on to our lives—He is essential. Without Him, we're spiritually starved, but with Him, we're fully nourished and satisfied. In the wilderness, God provided manna from heaven to feed the Israelites. But Jesus declared that He is the true bread that came down from heaven—eternal, unfailing, and life-giving. The bread of the world perishes, but the Bread of Life endures forever and fills what the world can never satisfy. Today, if you're feeling empty, hungry, or spiritually dry, turn to the One who offers more than temporary relief. He offers Himself. Take Him in daily—through His Word, through communion, through relationship—and you will be filled.
John 6:35 (NKJV) – "And Jesus said to them, 'I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.'"
Today I Confess
Jesus, You are my daily bread. I don't live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from Your mouth. I receive You today as my fullness, my source, and my satisfaction.
