Life With God

The Strength to Do Life Well

January 8, 2025Author: Trish TiptonCategory: Encouragement

There's a difference between just surviving and truly living. Jesus didn't come to give us a life filled with anxiety, exhaustion, or emptiness—He came to give us a life of abundance. That means joy in hard moments, peace when things feel chaotic, and purpose that carries us through the everyday. Real life starts when we're connected to the One who gave it to us. Scripture tells us, "In Him we live and move and have our being." That's not just poetic—it's practical. When we anchor our lives in God, He becomes our strength, our direction, and our daily help. Whether we're raising kids, going to work, facing illness, or walking through grief, He's in every moment with us, empowering us to do what we couldn't do alone. We were never meant to figure life out in our own strength. When we walk with Jesus, He doesn't just give us commands—He gives us the grace and strength to live them out. So if today feels like too much, remind yourself: you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. He hasn't just given you life—He's given you the power to live it well.

"But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect—life in its fullness until you overflow!" John 10:10 (TPT) | "For in Him we live and move and have our being…" Acts 17:28 (NKJV) | "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)

Today I Confess

God is near, and I am never alone. I choose to believe His Word and live in His truth.
