Living Fully in the Benefits of the New Covenant

January 8, 2025Author: Trish TiptonCategory: Grace

Too many believers today are living under a weight they were never meant to carry. Instead of walking in the freedom and favor of the New Covenant, they're still trying to earn what Jesus has already paid for. The law was never meant to bring righteousness—it only pointed us to our need for a Savior. Jesus fulfilled the law and poured out unmerited favor, giving us access to every spiritual blessing. Psalm 103 reminds us not to forget His benefits: forgiveness, healing, protection, favor, satisfaction, and renewed strength. These aren't distant promises—they are covenant realities for every believer right now. The enemy uses ignorance to rob God's people. Hosea 4:6 says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." We can't afford to overlook what belongs to us in Christ. God wants us to know Jesus intimately—not just who He is, but what He's done. It's not about more rules or religious striving. It's about revelation—opening our eyes to the finished work of the cross and the life it unlocks. When we see Jesus clearly, we see who we truly are: loved, redeemed, and victorious. Don't let another day go by without claiming what's already yours. Every benefit Jesus purchased with His blood is available to you—right now. Forgiveness is yours. Healing is yours. Divine protection and favor are yours. The goodness of God and the renewal of your strength are yours. It brings God great joy to see you living in the fullness of His grace. So rise up, beloved—know what's been given to you, and start walking in it today.

Today I Confess

I am righteous—not because of what I've done, but because of what Jesus has done for me. Grace made me new.
