Unveiled and Becoming
Transformed by His Presence, Not Our Performance
What if the transformation we long for doesn't come through striving, but through simply beholding? When we turn our face to Jesus without pretense or performance—just honest, unveiled hearts—we begin to reflect Him. Like a mirror held up to glory, we don't just see His light—we start to radiate it. That's the beauty of grace: we don't become more like Him by trying harder, but by seeing Him more clearly. God never intended for us to stay stuck in who we used to be. The Spirit is at work, moving us from one level of glory to the next. It's a process, and it's His work, not ours. The more we gaze at Jesus in His Word, in worship, and in quiet moments of surrender, the more we become like Him. We were never meant to stay the same. Glory to glory is the path we're on, and His Spirit is the one leading us step by step. This isn't just about personal growth—it's about identity. We're not trying to earn a place with Him; we're learning to live like we belong. So today, let the veil drop. Take a long look at the One who calls you His own. He's not just changing your behavior—He's transforming your very nature, shaping you into His image.
"But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord." – 2 Corinthians 3:18 NKJV
Today I Confess
