What God Sees When He Looks at You
You're more than your mistakes—you're seen through the eyes of grace.
If you've ever felt like God's love depends on how well you're doing, you're not alone. Many people believe God is disappointed in them because of their past or ongoing struggles. But the truth is, God's view of you isn't based on your performance. It's based on what Jesus already accomplished on the cross. He took your sin, shame, and failure upon Himself so that you could stand before God fully accepted and deeply loved. You may feel unworthy, but God doesn't see you through the lens of your mistakes. He sees you in Christ—completely forgiven, washed clean, and clothed in righteousness. The blood of Jesus didn't just cover your sin; it removed it. Now, when God looks at you, He doesn't see your flaws—He sees His Son. That means His thoughts toward you are full of kindness, mercy, and grace, not judgment or rejection. Jesus paid the highest price so you could live without fear of being rejected by God. You are His beloved, and nothing can change that. When you truly believe this, it shifts the way you live. You'll walk with confidence, knowing you're not trying to earn God's approval—you already have it. That kind of love sets you free to live with peace, purpose, and bold faith.
