Prayer for Peace and Patience

For the fruit that only grows in the waiting

Father, grow patience in me. I know it does not come without the waiting places — and I am asking anyway. Let me rest in Your pace rather than striving at mine. And let peace be my default setting — not something I chase but something I carry because You are with me. Teach me to slow down enough to hear You in the quiet. Amen.
