Prayer When a Child Feels Sad

Father, this child is sad and their sadness matters to You. You do not dismiss little hearts — You tend them. Come close to this child today. Let them feel seen and not alone in what they are feeling. Bring something to make them smile. Remind them that joy comes — that this sad moment is not the whole story. And help me to sit with them in it without rushing to fix it. Amen.
