Prayer When Your Mind Will Not Rest

For the sleepless nights and the thoughts that won't quiet

Lord, my mind will not stop. The thoughts keep coming and the quiet I need feels out of reach. You give sleep to those You love — and I receive that tonight. Quiet the noise. Still the spinning. Let Your peace guard my mind like a sentinel at the gate. I choose to meditate on who You are instead of what I fear. You are here. I am resting in that. Amen.
