Cold-pressed, hexane-free castor oil is one of the most versatile natural remedies available — inexpensive, shelf-stable, and useful for an impressive range of external applications. Its primary active component, ricinoleic acid, has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and lymphagogue properties that make it effective across a wide range of conditions.

For dry eyes and lids: applied nightly to the lash line, it lubricates and nourishes. For joint and muscle relief: massaged into sore areas with or without a warm compress, it reduces local inflammation. For dry skin healing: applied to rough patches, cracked heels, or dry elbows, it creates a deeply moisturizing barrier. For hair and scalp: massaged into the scalp, it nourishes follicles and may support thicker, stronger hair growth.

For lymphatic detox: applied with gentle massage along lymphatic pathways, it stimulates lymph circulation and supports the body's natural detoxification processes. For scars and stretch marks: applied consistently under scar tape or alone, it may gradually soften and reduce the appearance of scar tissue. Always use cold-pressed, hexane-free castor oil for any use near the eyes or on sensitive areas.
