Personal inhalers are one of the most practical ways to use essential oils for respiratory support — they're portable, discreet, long-lasting, and deliver the oils directly where they're needed with every breath. This blend was formulated specifically for sinus congestion and nasal passage obstruction, using three of the most effective oils for respiratory relief.

Eucalyptus contains 1,8-cineole, a compound with documented mucolytic and anti-inflammatory effects on the respiratory tract. Research has shown it reduces mucus viscosity, making it easier to clear, and has direct anti-inflammatory effects on nasal and bronchial tissue. Peppermint opens nasal passages through the cooling action of menthol, which activates cold receptors and creates an immediate sense of greater airflow.

Tea tree brings antimicrobial properties that address the bacterial or viral component of congestion — particularly useful when congestion stems from a sinus infection or cold. The optional lavender or rosemary softens the blend and adds additional anti-inflammatory support. Inhale three to four times daily or as needed; a properly prepared inhaler will retain its potency for several months.

  1. 1Add essential oils directly to a clean cotton wick.
