Jesus, the True Bread of Life
Daily nourishment for your spirit, found only in Him
God has filled His Word with hidden treasures that reveal Jesus from beginning to end. One powerful example is the manna given to the Israelites in the wilderness—what Psalm 78 calls "the bread of heaven." Though it was supernatural provision, the people called it "worthless bread." That manna was a picture of Jesus Himself, the true Bread from heaven. Just like them, many today overlook or minimize Jesus, replacing Him with principles or teachings instead of a real relationship. But Scripture reminds us that Christ crucified is both the power and wisdom of God. He's not just a part of the message—He is the message. When we preach Jesus and His finished work, hearts are set free, minds are renewed, and lives are changed. The enemy knows the power of a Jesus-centered life, which is why he works so hard to distract believers from Him. The Israelites had to gather fresh manna daily—it couldn't be stored or saved. In the same way, God wants us to seek fresh revelation of Jesus each day. Yesterday's Word won't sustain today's challenges. His mercies are new every morning, and He longs to satisfy our souls with His presence. Jesus is still the Bread of Life, and He alone can truly fill us.
Today I Confess
I feed on the Bread of Life—Jesus Himself. His presence fills every empty place and nourishes my soul daily.
