Open the Storehouse
Releasing the Word of Life in Times of Crisis
The world feels uncertain right now. There's fear in the air, bad news on every channel, and financial instability shaking the systems people trust. But as believers, we don't build our lives on what the world says—we build them on what God has spoken. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 4:4 (NKJV): "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God." That's our anchor when everything else feels shaky. If we let the news feed our thoughts, fear will follow. But we weren't meant to live in reaction to the world—we're called to respond from a place of peace and purpose. In Genesis 41:55 (NKJV), during a time of famine, Pharaoh told the people, "Go to Joseph; whatever he says to you, do." And Joseph opened the storehouses. He didn't panic—he provided. That's what we're called to do: open what's been entrusted to us and give freely. This world is starving—not just for money or stability, but for peace, truth, and lasting hope. We carry the Bread of Life. This is not the moment to stay silent or pull back. It's time to open the storehouse of God's Word that's been placed inside us. Let's give it away with boldness, because what we have to share isn't just helpful—it's life-giving.
Today I Confess
I live by faith, not by sight. God is faithful, and I trust Him with my whole heart.
