Remembering the Gift

The power of Communion is more than a ritual—it's a personal invitation to partake of Christ's sacrifice.

Jesus didn't just hand out bread at the Last Supper; He offered Himself. Luke 22:19 says, "And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, 'This is My body, which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.'" That moment wasn't just symbolic. It was sacred. He was revealing the depth of His love and the personal nature of His sacrifice. When we take Communion, it's not about checking a box or repeating a tradition. It's about remembering—with faith—that His broken body was for our healing, wholeness, and restoration. Each time we take the bread, we are receiving the gift of His life exchanged for ours. We're invited to pause and reflect on the price He paid so we could live free and full. So today, when you take the bread, don't rush past it. Remember Him. Thank Him. And receive everything He made possible through His body given for you—healing, peace, strength, and eternal life. It's already been done.

Today I Confess

I will not forget the price Jesus paid. I live with gratitude for the cross, for grace, and for the new life He gave me.
