Toenail Fungus Oil Blend
A targeted daily topical oil with tea tree, oregano, and lavender for stubborn toenail fungal infections.
Toenail fungus is one of the more stubborn conditions to treat — the infection lives under and inside the nail plate, making it difficult for any topical treatment to reach. Consistency and patience are the keys to success with natural remedies: application must be daily and continued for months, as the goal is to grow out a healthy nail rather than instantly eliminate the fungus.
Tea tree oil has the most documented antifungal research of any essential oil and has been shown in clinical studies to be effective against dermatophytes, the fungi responsible for most nail infections. Oregano oil contains carvacrol and thymol, powerful antifungal compounds that complement tea tree. Lavender adds additional antifungal action along with skin-soothing properties.
Fractionated coconut oil is an excellent carrier here because it has its own mild antifungal properties from its lauric acid content, and it penetrates well around the nail bed. Apply to clean, dry nails and allow to absorb fully. Trim nails short and file the nail surface lightly before applying to improve penetration.
