This blend provides external topical support for the discomfort associated with yeast infections — itching, irritation, and inflammation of the surrounding skin. It is not a substitute for medical treatment of a confirmed yeast infection, and internal use is not appropriate for essential oils. For persistent, recurring, or severe symptoms, consult a healthcare provider.

Tea tree oil has documented antifungal activity against Candida albicans, the most common cause of vaginal yeast infections, in laboratory studies. Lavender adds anti-inflammatory and soothing properties, while geranium has both antifungal and skin-balancing effects. Frankincense reduces inflammation in irritated tissue.

Fractionated coconut oil is a particularly appropriate carrier here — its high lauric acid content gives it intrinsic antifungal properties, and it is gentle enough for sensitive skin. Apply externally only to affected and surrounding skin.
